Key points about the event
- Only R4 and R5 of the alliance can set the trap, choose its difficulty and activate it, so it’s best to confirm the activation time in advance.
- Usually two traps are set, but you can only take part in one. Pick the time that suits you best for full participation.
- Once the trap is set, make contributions to it: they raise the damage dealt and earn alliance coins.
- The mouse cannot be killed!
Your goal is to reach phase 5 and deal the maximum personal damage in the 30 minutes the event lasts.
Contributing to the trap
To contribute, tap the trap, then “Contribute”. It’s better to add lures one at a time: if you go over the maximum, the extra lures simply disappear.
You can get lures every day by completing the daily tasks.
Taking part in the event
Once the trap is activated, a mouse appears and you need to launch rallies on it. The rally time can’t be changed, so start your rally with the second squad and use the first to join your allies’ rallies. Ideally, launch rallies 30–40 seconds apart: that lets you join the most rallies.
Aim to reach phase 5 or to earn the maximum personal rewards. To check your personal reward, tap the mouse, then “Rank” and “Personal reward”.
If you can’t take part online
You can set up offline participation for this event. On the “Special event” tab, select “Cheese Trap” and tick the offline participation box at the bottom of the page. The rewards are lower than for online participation, but that’s better than not taking part at all.
